PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplex device capable of checking the operational state of a standby system efficiently.SOLUTION: A duplex device includes: running system input-output means 15a for outputting second information in response to first information input from a first device to a second device 16 using the second information; standby system input-output means 15b that outputs the second information in response to the first information as test information and operates as the running system input-output means 15a when an abnormality occurs in the running system input-output means 15a; and determination means for determining the operational state of the standby system input-output means on the basis of the test information. |
