PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably take an image of a subject moving within an imaging visual field at a desired position and with desired timing, by an intuitive and simple operation.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging unit which takes an image of a subject; a display control unit which performs display based on the taken image taken by the imaging unit; a touch panel which receives slide operation corresponding to the taken image displayed by the display control unit; a subject determination unit which determines the subject in the taken image; and a control unit which determines the imaging timing of the subject moving to the apparatus in the taken image, in accordance with the slide operation. |
