PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system which offers enhanced reliability and maintainability by efficiently detecting an abnormality point.SOLUTION: A radio communication system 1 comprises: a plurality of radio communication devices 10A; a plurality of radio communication devices 10B connected to the corresponding radio communication devices 10A via a radio channel 2, respectively; and a monitoring control device 20 which is connected with the plurality of radio communication devices 10A and monitors status of radio communication by the radio communication devices 10A, 10B and the radio channel 2. The monitoring control device 20 receives alarm/status information from the radio communication devices 10A at every predetermined timing. When the monitoring control device 20 receives an alarm indicating communication abnormality from the given radio communication device 10Aand if it is determined that there is abnormality in radio communication, the monitoring control device 20 transmits transmission suspension request to every radio communication device except the radio communication devices 10Aand 10B. Then, when every radio communication devices having received the transmission suspension request has suspended its transmission operation, the monitoring control device 20 determines whether abnormality occurs in a point related to the radio communication device 10Aon the basis of the alarm transmitted from the radio communication device 10A. |
