FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forging equipment and can be used for protection against overload on the press incorporating con-rod and slider. Said slider accommodates the support to allows joint displacement of both in direction of slider motion. Said support is articulated with press con-rod to get in contact with safety. The latter is arranged in said slider and aligned with said support and consists of cylinder and external ring assembled with interference fit. Said cylinder and ring are spring loaded relative to each other. One of safety part is made from material with shape memory and incorporates built in electric heaters.EFFECT: lower labour input in press recovery after safety operation.1 dwg
