PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of effectively eliminating static electricity from a belt surface.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: an annular conveyance belt 73; a drive roller 71 and a follower roller 72 which extend the conveyance belt 73; and a transfer roller 74 disposed opposite to a photoreceptor drum 51 on which a toner image is formed, and configured to transfer the toner image on the photoreceptor drum 51 onto paper P conveyed by the conveyance belt 73. The image forming apparatus further comprises a conductor plate 100 arranged in close contact with the surface of the conveyance belt 73. The conductor plate 100 is located downstream of the photoreceptor drum 51 in the direction of movement of the conveyance belt 73 and is electrically grounded. |
