PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for transplanting in which many plants can be transplanted in one time in a simple way.SOLUTION: When transplanting plants between medium plates 200, the plants arranged on a medium plate become half as one of the following processes are performed by repeating the processes of: arranging the plants arranged in a grid pattern into a zigzag pattern; and arranging the plants arranged in a zigzag pattern into a grid pattern. Also, each plant can be individually held and taken out from a source medium plate 200, and can be transplanted while the distance of the plant to the other plants is adjusted to fit the plant arrangement distance of the destination. |
