PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide appropriate control for use in a system equipped with a solid polymer type fuel cell 1 when the system is switched to autonomous operation after being paralleled off from a system power supply 6.SOLUTION: When the power generated by a solid polymer type fuel cell 1 during autonomous operation is assumed to be regular power (e.g., 500 W) and the total load power of a system exceeds the regular power (e.g., 500 W), power supply to an external load connected to a self-supporting only outlet 17 is suspended for a certain time. External load power is adjusted during this suspension to lower the total load power below the regular power, and, after an elapse of the certain time, power supply is resumed. |
