PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape excellent both in rewinding property and in overlap adhesion property on a self back surface.SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 10 comprises: a support 1; a release agent layer 2; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3. The support 1 is formed by laminating an aluminum foil layer 13 on one surface of a glass fiber woven fabric layer 11 through an adhesive layer 12. The release agent layer 2 is laminated on the surface on the aluminum foil layer 13 side of the support, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 is laminated on the surface on the glass fiber woven fabric layer 11 side thereof. The release agent layer 2 contains a release agent comprising a long-chain alkyl group-containing compound having a hydroxyl group, and trifluoroacetic anhydride is brought into contact with the surface of the release agent layer 2 in a gas phase to thereby chemically modify a hydroxyl group existing on the surface. The F content rate in element analysis by ESCA is 0.5 atomic% or more and 6.0 atomic% or less.
