PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparator and an oscillator having a comparator which are less dependent on manufacturing variations and can suppress a variation in oscillation frequency.SOLUTION: The comparator includes: a current generation section (110) which includes a diode circuit (M2) having an anode side supplied with a supply voltage (VDD), a first constant current source (111) connected to a cathode side of the diode circuit (M2), and a depletion MOS transistor (M4) having a gate terminal connected to the cathode side of the diode circuit, and which generates a current from a drain terminal of the depletion MOS transistor (M4); and an enhancement MOS transistor (M7) having a gate terminal fed with an input signal and a drain terminal supplied with an output current based on the current. The enhancement MOS transistor (M7) outputs an output signal (Vout) from the drain terminal on the basis of the input signal. |
