PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor capable of both improving accuracy of a resistance value and suppressing variations by improving a relative dimension accuracy of a resistive element, and further achieving high resistance even when the resistor is small.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a resistor comprises the steps of: forming a resistive layer on a transfer substrate by a spin coating method via a film; transferring the resistive layer to the substrate together with the film so that the resistive layer is positioned closer to the substrate than the film; forming a plurality of resistive elements by removing a part of the resistive layer; burning the resistive element and causing the film to disappear; forming a pair of upper surface electrodes electrically connected to the resistive element after the burning step; and dividing the substrate into a substrate of individual pieces. |
