PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably provide high airtightness in a battery container.SOLUTION: A battery container comprises: a box 10 having an opening 11 for taking in and out a battery; and a lid 20 for sealing the opening. In the battery container, the outer side of the opening is sealed with a flat packing 30. At least one of both sides of the flat packing is a packing seal surface which comes into contact with a seal surface 20a of the lid or a seal surface 10a of the box. The seal surface brought into contact with the packing seal surface is provided with grooves 10b and 20b which surround the opening, and negative pressure is created inside the grooves. |
