PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece wheel in which rusting or corrosion does not occur and which has low slide resistance and is suitable to a wheel used for a timepiece, and a timepiece using the same.SOLUTION: A timepiece wheel is characterized such that in a wheel which has a ferrous (iron, SUS) shaft part and in which a gear made of a thermoplastic resin (polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyoxymethylene (POM)) is mounted on the shaft part, or in a wheel which has a ferrous (iron, SUS) shaft part and in which a gear of an adjacent component made of a thermoplastic resin (polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyoxymethylene (POM)) contacts the shaft part, a coating only comprising carbon hydride to the shaft part is provided. A timepiece is manufactured by the timepiece wheel. |
