PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a railroad vehicle that allows downsizing and weight saving and has superior workability in assembly and maintenance.SOLUTION: The control device 10 for a railroad vehicle comprises: a box-shaped housing 20 arranged at the underfloor of a railroad vehicle; and a first inverter unit 30a and a second inverter unit 30b, which have a semiconductor element circuit for converting power to drive an electric motor and coolers 38a and 38b respectively. The first and the second inverter units are arranged at a diagonal position toward the center position of the housing in the housing. The coolers of the first and the second inverter units are arranged at two opposing sidewalls 20c and 20d sides of the housing. |
