PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an inexpensive teleconference system and teleconference method that can disperse a risk at the time of a failure and eliminate video delay.SOLUTION: A teleconference system in which a server device and a plurality of terminals are connected on the same network and a plurality of ring-shaped communication routes are formed by the server device and the plurality of terminals is characterized in that the server device performs composite processing to generate one piece of conference video data by combining conference video data received from a terminal at the last stage in the ring-shaped communication routes, and transmits the conference video data after the composite processing to a terminal at the forefront stage of the ring-shaped communication routes, and the terminals display the received conference video data on their display screens and perform composite processing by inserting video data of its own terminal at a prescribed position and transmits the conference video data after the composite processing to a next connection destination terminal in the ring-shaped communication routes or the server device. |
