PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store dump data in a reliable way.SOLUTION: The storage system includes a plurality of control devices for controlling input/output of data to/from a storage device for storing data. Each of the control devices has an interface section where a command concerning input/output of data to/from the storage device is input, and an arithmetic processing section for receiving the command from the interface section and executing the command. In the event of any malfunction of the interface section, the arithmetic processing section selects an arithmetic processing section and asks the selected arithmetic processing section to execute storage processing of dump data of the interface section. If the activity ratio of the selected arithmetic processing section exceeds the range of a prescribed threshold during execution of the storage processing, the arithmetic processing section selects another arithmetic processing section to ask the selected arithmetic processing section to execute storage processing of the dump data. |
