PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make power consumption for driving a pump more efficient by suppressing an excess output larger than a required hydraulic pressure, and reduce the number of current value signal lines connecting a vehicle ECU and a pump ECU.SOLUTION: An electric pump includes: motor rotational velocity detection means for detecting a rotational velocity of a motor; motor current consumption detection means for detecting a current consumption of the motor; relief valve operation starting point detection means for detecting an operation starting point of a relief valve on the basis of the rotational velocity of the motor detected by the motor rotational velocity detection means and the current consumption of the motor detected by the motor current consumption detection means; and motor control means for controlling at least one of the rotational velocity of the motor and the current supplied to the motor on the basis of at least one of the rotational velocity of the motor and the current consumption of the motor at the operation starting point of the relief valve detected by the relief valve operation starting point detection means. |
