摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator having excellent heat resistance differently from a resin separator, and prevents short circuit due to penetration of needle-like precipitates of lithium when used as the separator of a lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: The electrode assembly 12 of a secondary battery (power storage device) has a lamination structure in which a sheet-like positive electrode 13 and a sheet-like negative electrode 14, having an active material layer applied to at least any one surface, are laminated with a sheet-like separator 15 interposed therebetween. The separator 15 is formed of a metal compound having electrical insulation and formed like a sheet, and consists of an open continuous porous body including a plurality of bores 15a having a bore diameter of 1000 nm or less, and connected three-dimensionally while extending in random directions and having the apertures in both surfaces of the separator 15.
