The invention relates to a locking device (1) for locking or unlocking an important functional component (2) of a vehicle with an enclosure (3) and a blocking element (4), which can assume at least two positions by means of a control element (5), namely a locked position in which the blocking element (4) protrudes from the enclosure (3) through an opening (8) and is operatively connected to the important functional component (2), and an unlocked position in which the blocking element (4) is mainly positioned in the enclosure (3) and is not operatively connected with the important functional component (2), and a security element (6), with which the blocking element (4) can be blocked at least in the unlocked position. In order to provide a pure mechanical or electromechanical locking device that has a simple and reliable structure, it is recommended that the control element (5) also have control means (5b) to actuate the security element (6). |
