PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate manufacturing method which suppresses trapping of air bubbles even when a thickness of an active energy ray curable resin which is an adhesive is reduced.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a polarizing plate comprising a polarizing film with a transparent film pasted on one or each surface thereof includes; an adhesive application step for applying an active energy curable adhesive to one or each surface of the polarizing film; a pasting step for pasting the transparent film and the polarizing film together by interposing and pressing a laminate comprising the polarizing film with the transparent film laminated on one or each surface thereof via the adhesive, between a pair of pasting rollers that rotate in a conveying direction; and an active energy ray irradiation step for curing the adhesive by irradiating the laminate with an active energy ray.
