PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification device for vehicles capable of making a driver quickly recognize a traffic light switching to a green light.SOLUTION: A notification device for vehicles 100 detects a switch from a red light to a green light while a vehicle 90 carrying the notification device is in a halted state at the red light. If a display control section 40 makes an affirmative determination that the vehicle 90 keeps being in the halted state even after the switch from the red light to the green light, a speaker array 30 located on a driver seat side in an advancing direction emits an acoustic beam directed at a driver seat. A notification voice thus played back by the speaker array 30 guides the driver's line of sight deviated from the advancing direction toward the advancing direction, in which a traffic light is located. As a result, the effect of making the driver quickly recognize the traffic light switched to the green light can be seen. |
