PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an uninterruptible power supply device having high efficiency at a low cost.SOLUTION: An AC/DC power conversion device comprises: a rush current prevention unit 3 which is composed of a first relay unit 3b and resistance 3a and is connected to an AC power supply 1 at one end of the rush current prevention unit 3; a first reactor 4 whose one end is connected to the other end of the rush current prevention unit 3; a first power conversion unit 5 which is connected to the other end of the reactor 4 at an input of the first power conversion unit 5, and is a single-phase full bridge inverter; a second power conversion unit 6 which is connected between an output of the first power conversion unit 5 and the other power line 18 of the AC power supply 1, and operates by a drive signal of one pulse applied for each half period of the AC power supply 1 to convert AC to positive and negative DC; and a positive electrode side capacitor 7 and a negative electrode side capacitor 8 to which the second power conversion unit 6 supplies power. When the AC/DC power conversion device is connected to the AC power supply 1 to start up, a first capacitor 5C which is a DC power supply of the first power conversion unit 5, the positive electrode side capacitor 7 and the negative electrode side capacitor 8 are charged by the AC power supply 1 through the resistance 3a. |
