SIGNAL PROCESSING SYSTEM AND SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing system that reduces the load of compression and restoration processes in compressive sensing.SOLUTION: The signal processing system includes: a random compressive matrix generation section for generating a random compressive matrix having in random positions of rows and columns smaller numbers of nonzero random values than the numbers of rows and columns of a compressive matrix; a compression section for matrix-multiplying every preset frame size of an input digital signal by the random compressive matrix to compress the input digital signal; a random restorative matrix generation section for referring to the random compressive matrix to generate a random restorative matrix equivalent to the random compressive matrix; and a restoration section for performing a restoration process using the random restorative matrix on the signal compressed by the compression section to restore the original digital signal. The restoration process restores the signal by finding an approximate value in solving an L1 optimization problem using a graph representation.
