PURPOSE: A wiper apparatus having an improved ball joint structure is provided to firmly support the lower side of the centerline of a ball with improving the structure of a joint cap, thereby preventing the joint cap from being easily separated from the ball. CONSTITUTION: A wiper apparatus (10) having an improved ball joint structure includes a crank (30), a ball (32), a joint cap (40), and a transmission rod (60). The crank is rotated by a wiper motor (20). The ball is installed at one end of the crank. The joint cap is coupled to the ball, and is rotatable against the ball. The transmission rod is fixed to the joint cap, and moves together with the joint cap. The joint cap has multiple anti-separation ribs (42) supporting the lower side of the centerline of the ball in order to restrain separation thereof from the ball. |
