PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap capable of preventing a top cover from being opened even if pressure of air in a cap is raised by heating air, and hot water from entering inside of the cap at a hot water showering time.SOLUTION: A hinge cap comprises: a cap body to be mounted on a mouth cylinder portion of a container; and a top cover formed to extend from a cap body through a hinge. The cap body includes: an upper wall forming a cover engaging cylinder portion on the upper face of a circumferential upper surface; an outer cylinder depending from an outer circumferential edge of the upper wall and engaging with the mouth cylinder portion of the container, and an outer circumference ring formed continuously to form a clearance in the outer circumference of the outer cylinder. The hinge cap is characterized: in that the upper cover includes: a top wall and a side circumferential wall depending from the outer edge of the top wall; in that an engaging step for engaging with the cover engaging circumferential portion of the cap body is recessed in an inner circumferential lower portion of the circumferential wall; and in that a ring-shaped cylinder to be fitted between an outer circumferential ring of the cap body and the outer cylinder depends from the lower end face of the side circumferential wall. |
