PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination apparatus which makes it possible to simplify a structure, to prevent abnormal overheat of a light-emitting part with abnormality having been detected, to prevent the light-emitting part from becoming pitch-dark when detecting its abnormality, and to notify occurrence of abnormality in the light-emitting part.SOLUTION: An illumination apparatus 1 comprises a plurality of light-emitting parts 3 and 5 having light colors different from each other, a plurality of lighting drive parts 7 and 9 for lighting and driving the light-emitting parts 3 and 5, respectively, an abnormality detection part 10 for detecting whether abnormality occurs or not in each of the light-emitting parts 3 and 5, and a control part 17c for controlling a lighting state of each of the light-emitting parts 3 and 5 via each of the lighting drive parts 7 and 9. In the case where the abnormality is detected in any of the light-emitting parts 3 and 5 during the lighting of each of the lighting-emitting parts 3 and 5, the control part 17c controls each of the lighting drive parts 7 and 9 in such a manner that the light-emitting part with the abnormality being detected is subjected to blackout and the lighting of the light-emitting part with the abnormality not being detected is continued. |
