PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a washing machine efficiently performing ventilation and promoting drying of clothes.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a water receiving tub 25 provided in the washing machine; a washing dewatering tub 26 disposed rotatably in the water receiving tub 25 and having a substantially circular opening part 35; an exterior cover 24 provided at the upper part of the washing dewatering tub 26; an opening part 23 for clothes input provided at the exterior cover 24 and from which clothes are put in; an outer lid 28 for opening closing the opening part 23 for clothes input; and a ventilation port 30 provided at the side of the outer lid 28. As the opening part 23 for clothes input covers a part of the opening part 35, and air in the washing dewatering tub 26 is ventilated via the ventilation port 30, ventilation inside the water receiving tank is performed efficiently, infiltration of water or dust into the washing dewatering tub from the ventilation port is prevented and a washing machine having a good appearance quality can be achieved. |
