PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration type balancing power supply that efficiently implements stable power supply on a power system side and efficiently implements inexpensive cogeneration on a cogeneration side.SOLUTION: The cogeneration type balancing power supply includes: first fuel cells A and second fuel cells B arranged so as to transfer generated heat to each other; and heat supply means 40 for supplying heat by the use of natural gas supplied from gas supply means 20. The first fuel cells A and the second fuel cells B can transmit generated power to a transmission/distribution network 10 owned by an electricity supplier. The first fuel cells A are operated as a gas supplier's so as to keep a constant current density. The second fuel cells B are operated as the electricity supplier's, and an output of the second fuel cells B is increased and generated electricity is transmitted to the transmission/distribution network 10 when a thermal power station 11 is operated between a standby state and a rated operation. |
