PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen treatment system for a nuclear power plant capable of reducing a hydrogen concentration inside a nuclear reactor containment and preventing gas inside the same from being discharged to an external environment when a hydrogen permeable film is damaged.SOLUTION: A hydrogen permeable film 3 is installed in a hydrogen treatment device 2 connected to a nuclear reactor containment 1. Piping 24, which is connected to the hydrogen processing device 2, is connected to a condenser 12 where a cooling pipe 9 is arranged inside the same. The piping 24 has a flowmeter 4 and a hydrogen recombiner 5. An oxygen gas supply device 6 is connected to the hydrogen recombiner 5. A water tank 14 is connected to the condenser 12. Hydrogen inside the nuclear reactor containment 1: permeates the hydrogen permeable film 3; is introduced to the hydrogen recombiner 5; and reacts with oxygen supplied from the oxygen gas supply device 6 to form water vapor. The water vapor condenses inside the condenser 12. When the hydrogen permeable film 3 is damaged, gas inside the nuclear reactor containment 1 is trapped in the piping 24, the hydrogen recombiner 5 and the condenser 12. |
