PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an openable roof skylight capable of reducing cost of components by forming a pair of guide rails into symmetrical section shapes to enable use of common rail members, without need for crossing and arranging power transmission members.SOLUTION: In an openable roof skylight 1 in which an opening 3a of a fixed frame 3 to be fixed to a roof 2 is opened/closed with a movable window 4 which is tiltable and slidable, a pair of guide rails 5 are installed on the fixed frame 3, a pair of power transmission members 21 to be operated by a driving source 16 are connected to a pair of sliders 23 which slidably engage with the guide rails 5 and engage with the movable window 4, a pair of guide parts 32i, 32o are formed on the pair of guide rails 5 formed into symmetrical section shapes to guide the power transmission members 21 outside and inside the sliders 23, respectively, and on one guide rail 5r, the power transmission member 21 is provided at the inside guide part 32i and on the other guide rail 5i, the power transmission member 21 is provided at the outside guide part 32o. |
