Contact pressure device for flat articles at a revolving transport belt, in particular letters in a franking and/or addressing machine. The purpose is an increase of the usage area and the throughput. According to the object, flat articles of different thicknesses - as a whole or partially - can be processed as one piece at predetermined speed in arbitrary close order, without slippage. According to the invention, an elastic, bellows-shaped, resiliently borne air bag 210 with its low-friction, wear-resistant cover surface 2101 can be non-positively connected with the transport belt 10 and be executed as a mobile contact pressure module 2 with its associated retention and air supply devices 201, 202, 204, 205, 206, 207 and 209 (see Fig. 2). |
