The present invention is a beehive for collecting honey by raising bees. A body and a cover forming a beehive are made of plastic (synthetic resin) via injection-molding. As an insulating material made of styrofoam (foamed polystyrene) is embedded inside the cover and the body, the weight of the beehive is reduced, and the durability thereof is improved so that transportation and installation of the beehive are simple. A long-term use of the beehive is possible as the lifetime thereof is extended. As the insulating material is embedded inside the beehive, the temperature and humidity in summer and winder are optimally maintained. As the body and the cover are injection-molded of plastic, the beehive is light and obtains excellent durability so that deformation and damage to the beehive are prevented. A major configuration according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the body including a slide way and a door where bees land and enter and a honeycomb embedded inside; and a cover which is placed on the top of the body and includes a ventilation window. The cover and the body are injection-molded using plastic and a styrofoam insulating material is embedded inside the inner surfaces of the body and the cover. |
