Axle box (1) for train wheelsets and bogies, that consists in a housing within which are mounted bearings (3) of rolling shaft (2) of the wheelset, and which comprises a bushing with threaded holes (12) on which bearings (3) are supported, which is an inner metallic bushing (6). It further comprises outer metallic bushing (8) in such a way that between inner metallic bushing (6) and outer metallic bushing (8) a rubber with anisotropic properties (11) is attached by vulcanisation with independent rigidities in two radial directions perpendicular to each other. In addition it comprises lateral axial rings (7) and further comprises at least one supplement (9) in the form of a partial ring fixed to the outer bushing (8), in such a way that it is inserted between said bushing and the cradle of the wheelset chassis. |
