PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life electronic component burning tool such that reaction with a work is unlikely to occur during burning and a coating layer is unlikely to peel in spite of repetitive use.SOLUTION: An electronic component burning tool has a porous coating layer formed on a surface of a base material made of a silicon carbide-based refractory material through flame spraying with mullite, the porous coating layer having a porosity of 5-25% and a coefficient of thermal expansion of 4.5 to 8×10/°C. The burning tool is suitably manufactured by forming the porous coating layer of mullite through flame spraying on the surface of the base material made of the silicon carbide-based refractory material with mullite powder of 45-300 μm in mean particle size. |
