PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-way power conversion device that reconciles miniaturization and switching loss reduction.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a two-way power conversion device 20 for performing AC-DC conversion from a first pair of terminals to a second pair of terminals and performing DC-AC conversion from the second pair of terminals to the first pair of terminals includes: a capacitive element 21 connected between the first pair of terminals; first and second switching elements 23a, 23b connected in series between the second pair of terminals; third and fourth switching elements 23c, 23d connected in series between the second pair of terminals; first to fourth rectification elements 24a-24d; inductor elements 22a, 22b connected between the first to fourth switching elements 23a-23d and the capacitive element 21; and a control section 60 for performing switching control of the first to fourth switching elements 23a-23d. The control section 60 employs a higher switching frequency during DC-AC conversion than during AC-DC conversion. |
