PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-liquid separation apparatus for muddy water, which prevents a deposit from fixing to an inclined inner surface of a thickner.SOLUTION: A thickner 201 comprises: a hopper-shaped thickner body 204 that is formed so as to expand toward an upper side; and a circular lake-storage part 206 that is continuously provided at a lower end of the thickner body 204 and has a diameter larger than a dimension of a lower end opening 204b of the thickner body 204. Lake 202 is accommodated in a lake storage chamber 206a in the circular lake-storage part 206.
