PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device capable of extending output holding time of a control power source in order to perform at least either of retraction of a driven body connected to a motor to a region where the driven body does not interfere with an object or stopping of the motor for avoiding interference of the driven body connected to the motor with the object at power failure.SOLUTION: At the power failure of a three-phase AC power source 1, if power stored in a DC link part 3 is greater than any of first power necessary for stopping of a motor 5 in order to avoid interference of a driven body 6 with an object, second power necessary for retraction of the driven body 6 to a region where the driven body does not interfere with the object, and the sum of the first power and the second power, and power which can be supplied from a control power source 11 is less than the sum of power necessary for driving of a monitor 12 and a cooling fan 14 and power necessary for driving of a motor control device 10, the motor control device 10 stops power supply to the monitor 12 and the cooling fan 14 from the control power source 11. |
