Disclosed are a method and device for an IMS terminal to access a network. The method comprises: a home location IMS terminal management system of an IMS terminal obtaining IMS network access point information about a visitor location from a visitor location IMS terminal management system of the IMS terminal, the IMS terminal management systems synchronizing respective data via an interface; and the home location IMS terminal management system sending configuration information to the IMS terminal, the configuration information comprising the obtained IMS network access point information. In the present invention, the IMS terminal management systems synchronize respective data via an interface. When roaming, the home location IMS terminal management system of the IMS terminal obtains access point information about a visitor location from the visitor location IMS terminal management system, and sends to the IMS terminal configuration information comprising the access point information to enable an access point obtained by the IMS terminal to be more accurate, thereby achieving service roaming management, and improving the security of an IMS network. |
