The present invention relates to a filtering and automatic back-washing system of a waste water heat collecting device which improves the performance of the waste water heat collecting device by eliminating foreign substances such as fine sludge attached to a tube or a pipe of a waste water heat exchanger of the waste water heat collecting device which uses waste hot water as a power source using back-washing. The filtering and automatic back-washing system of a waste water heat collecting device according to the present invention comprises; a first filter which filters waste hot water inserted from a waste water source; a second filter which filters the waste hot water passing through the first filter; a heat exchanger which receives the waste hot water from the second filter; a pump which is installed between the second filter and the heat exchanger and pumps the waste hot water to the heat exchanger; a waste hot water supplying pipe which supplies the waste hot water of the waste water source to the first filter; a first hot water supplying pipe which connects the first and second filters; and a second hot water supplying pipe which connects the second filter and the heat exchanger. A waste water discharge pipe and a cool water supplying pipe for supplying cool water are connected to the heat exchanger. A third switching valve is installed on the predetermined position of the waste water discharge pipe. A first switching valve is installed between the second filter and the pump which locates on a predetermined position of the second hot water supplying pipe. A check valve is installed on the second hot water supplying pipe between the pump and the heat exchanger.
