A transmission and reception device of a multicarrier transmission system capable of reducing a PAPR is provided. A transmission device of the system copies a partial data block among data subcarrier of a data symbol to be transmitted, inserts the partial data block into a data reuse block and transmits the partial data block-inserted data reuse block to a reception device, and a partial data block inserted into the data reuse block is capable of reducing a PAPR of the data symbol to be transmitted the least. A reception device confirms which data block among the subcarrier of the data block of the data symbol received from the transmission device has the data block inserted into the data reuse block of the data block of the data symbol received from the transmission device, synthesizes confirmed data block and the data reuse block, substitutes the synthesized one into the confirmed data block and restores the original data.
