PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving an effect in classification and cleaning to be performed in order to reduce the volume of waste soil to be generated when soil contaminated with radioactive cesium is decontaminated by removing surface soil.SOLUTION: When polyions exist in performing classification and cleaning with respect to soil contaminated with radioactive cesium, fine particles attached to rough particles are easily detached by an aggregation action with respect to fine particles held by polyions and also the reattachment of fine particles is suppressed. Thus, a classification and cleaning effect is improved.
