PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic blackboard which, even when much information has input by handwriting, enables simultaneous reference to information without lowering visibility.SOLUTION: An electronic blackboard 1 according to this invention includes a display device 3 provided with a display surface which displays characters and images, and an input device 2 provided overlying the display device, where handwritten information input at the input device 2 is displayed substantially at the same position as the input position on the display surface. The electronic blackboard comprises: a handwritten information acquisition unit 11 which acquires handwritten information and input time from the input device 2 and stores it; a handwritten information monitoring unit 13 which calculates and monitors an elapsed time from the input time of the handwritten information; a handwritten display change unit 14 which changes transmittance of the handwritten information to a prescribed transmittance according to the lapsed time; and a display image generation unit 12 which displays the handwritten information on the display device with the prescribed transmittance. |
