A mapping device (1) maps pre- and post-change items of pre-change XBRL data (21) that includes pre-change items, and post-change XBRL data (22) that includes post-change items. The mapping device (1), using supplemental information pertaining to each item and the item name of each item, calculates the rate of agreement between highest-order parent items in the parent-child relationship between the items of pre-change XBRL data (21) and the parent-child relationship between the items of the post-change XBRL data (22) items. Then, the mapping device (1), on the basis of the calculated rate of agreement, maps the paired parent items of the pre-change XBRL data (21) and the post-change XBRL data (22). This makes it possible for the mapping device (1) to map paired pre- and post-change items even when a plurality of pieces of information pertaining to the items of XBRL data are changed.
