PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To isolate an abnormality in an application or a virtual machine and an abnormality on the network side, when there is an abnormality in the operation of an application used on the virtual machine in a virtualization system.SOLUTION: In the virtualization system performing application communication between virtual machines via a switch, i.e., application communication using the physical IP address/TCP port number of a physical machine, network failure is monitored by monitoring communication using the physical IP address/UDP port number of a physical machine. A monitoring UDP packet is generated by copying a TCP packet for application communication, and the same value is stored in the TCP port number and the UDP port number. As a result, a TCP packet for application communication and a monitoring UDP packet can be transferred on the same path, and network failure can be confirmed by performing life-and-death monitoring of the monitoring UDP packet. |
