PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a webbing take-up device capable of stabilizing a load applied to a connection/disconnection mechanism provided between a motor and a spool.SOLUTION: A webbing take-up device 10 includes a spool, a spiral spring 52 for urging the spool in a winding direction, and a motor 66 with an output shaft 68. The webbing take-up device 10 also includes a first clutch 94 for rotating the spool in the winding direction by transmitting the normal-direction rotation of the output shaft 68 to the spool. In addition, the webbing take-up device 10 includes a second clutch 116 that has weights 170 and 172 rotated by the output shaft 68 and expanded by their own centrifugal forces, a connection/disconnection mechanism for performing connection so that the rotation of the output shaft 68 can be transmitted to the spool by receiving a force of the expansion of the weights 170 and 172, and a projection 125A serving as a load restriction part for restricting a load so that the load applied to the connection/disconnection mechanism cannot reach a predetermined value or above. |
