PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a substrate which has the risk of a short circuit in display wiring due to foreign matter, and prevent resultant defects from occurring on the market.SOLUTION: A substrate for a display device includes power supply wiring (23 Vgh) provided on a base substrate (21), an insulating film (24) covering the power supply wiring (23 Vgh), inspection wiring (29) provided in an area where it is superposed on the power supply wiring (23 Vgh) on the insulating film (24) in plan view, along the power supply wiring (23 Vgh), a first terminal (27) electrically connected to the power supply wiring (23 Vgh), and a second terminal (29 t) electrically connected to the inspection wiring (29). |
