PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure which enables a rust preventive layer to be efficiently formed, and a storage tool for used nuclear fuels joined by means of the joint structure.SOLUTION: A joint structure includes a first rust preventive layer 5 that covers a flange (joint area) 3c of a body barrel 2 for rust prevention, a third rust preventive layer 7 that covers a joint area 4c of a lid 4 for rust prevention, and a metal gasket (seal body) 9 brought into airtight contact with the first rust preventive layer 5 and the third rust preventive layer 7. At least parts of the first rust preventive layer 5 and third rust preventive layer 7 are formed by thermal spraying. |
