Provided is a laminate precursor provided with an optical film precursor, which has a titanium oxide layer and with which processing with heating can be performed. The laminate precursor comprises a transparent base and an optical film precursor, which is laminated on the base, has at least one titanium oxide layer, and forms an optical film as a result of processing with heating being performed. For the titanium oxide layer, the proportion by mass of rutile titanium oxide to the sum of anatase titanium oxide plus rutile titanium oxide is 20% or more.
