The present invention relates to a vertical-axis tidal power generator which generates electric power by rotating around a vertical axis by a flow velocity and, more specifically, to a module type vertical-axis tidal power generator which is able to: be installed in a module type, in which a generation quantity does not have an effect on the direction of the flow velocity, which can be installed in succession; and have high efficiency and prevent damage from inflow matters in comparison with an existing tidal power generator by accelerating the flow velocity which acts on the vertical-axis tidal power generator which is positioned between supports by using the duct type supports which have an airfoil shape. The vertical-axis tidal power generator of the present invention by a composition like the forementioned is able to increase power generation efficiency by minimizing a rotation drag which is caused by a blade type arm structure and is able to enhance additional power generation efficiency by increasing the flow velocity which is inputted to the blade by the duct type supports having the airfoil shape. The vertical-axis tidal power generator is also able to easily install multiple modules because a generator, an accelerator, and an inverter are designed in an integrated module. Moreover, the vertical-axis tidal power generator is more stable than an existing pillar type support and prevents damage by having the supports of a truss structure. |
