PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good image while reducing a data amount of an image restoration filter to be stored.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: an image acquisition part 104b for acquiring an input image created by imaging through an imaging optical system 101; a storage part 108 for storing an image restoration filter used for image restoration processing; imaging status acquisition parts 107, 104b for acquiring information indicating an imaging status which is a status of the imaging optical system at the time of imaging; a determination part 104b for determining whether to perform the image restoration processing on the input image according to the imaging status; and a processing part 104b for acquiring, only when the determination part determines to perform the image restoration processing, the image restoration filter from the storage part and performing the image restoration processing on the input image by using the acquired image restoration filter. |
