PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor having high efficiency and reliability, and capable of being downsized while making the efficiency and the reliability compatible.SOLUTION: A rotary compressor includes: a rotor (11) which can rotate around an axis (O1) of a shaft (12) attached on a casing (1); a drive cylinder (8) which can rotate around a rotation center (O2) eccentric from the shaft (12); and a drive plate 13 which is rockable to one of the drive cylinder (8) and the rotor (11) and slidably installed to the other, and rotary coupling the drive cylinder (8) and the rotor (11). A space between a drive cylinder (8) inner surface and a rotor (11) outer periphery, which is partitioned by a partitioning point (C) and the drive plate (13), is actuation chambers (9, 10) carrying out compression or suction. |
